Foot Health During Pregnancy:

Due to the hormonal shifts and the adjustments a woman's body goes through to make room for a growing baby, pregnant woman experience common foot problems.

Some of these issues include: swelling, flat feet, increased foot size, cramping and even plantar fasciitis.

Some quick advice for foot care in pregnant woman:

1. Wear compression stockings
2. Elevate your legs when resting
3. Support the arches with good insoles and comfortable footwear
4. Stretch regularly
5. Stay active
6. Massage the feet
7. Soak feet with Epsom salts.
