Survey Request: APRNs Practicing in Occupational Health

The American Board for Occupational Health Nurses, Inc. (ABOHN) is seeking your assistance in gathering information about Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) who are currently practicing in the field of occupational health.

A brief survey has been developed to help us better understand the number of APRNs engaged in occupational health practice, their interest in certification, and the ways in which their specialized knowledge and experience are being applied within the field.

The information collected will help inform ABOHN’s Board of Directors (BOD) during discussions regarding the evolving credentialing landscape and the potential for future opportunities to recognize specialized practice and provide appropriate pathways for APRNs. Your input will be an important part of understanding the current practice environment and identifying areas where the credentialing landscape may be able to better support specialized professionals.

We encourage you to complete the survey and please share it with colleagues and professional networks who may have/be APRNs practicing in occupational health. The survey may be freely forwarded as broad participation will help ABOHN develop a more complete understanding!

Thank you for taking the time to contribute your perspective and for helping ABOHN reach others who may have relevant experience. Your participation will help provide valuable information for future discussions about the needs and opportunities within specialized occupational health nursing practice!
