To all providers no matter what field of expertise you practice in 😊💞

Never stop learning. Never stop looking beyond the status quo for better treatment options, and never stop advocating for each patient’s opportunity to receive the care and medications that may help them the most.

Continuing your education is more than just maintaining legal credentials—it is about staying current with research, clinical trials, and emerging therapies so we can think beyond a one-size-fits-all approach to medicine.

This weekend in Denver, I’m attending Axsome training focused on treatment options for agitation and other behavioral and mood symptoms associated with Alzheimer’s disease. For Alzheimer’s is much more than memory loss, and understanding the full spectrum of symptoms is essential to providing thoughtful, comprehensive care.

Keep learning. Keep asking questions. Keep pushing beyond the standard approach. And above all, keep fighting for individualized care for every patient. 🧠

As Alzheimer’s Awareness Month comes to a close, one message is worth remembering:

memory changes should not automatically be dismissed as “just getting older"

I recently had the opportunity to speak at the Watersound independent living community about brain health, risk reduction, early evaluation, and new advances in Alzheimer’s testing and treatment.

At Forget Me Not Dementia Clinic & Other Neurology Services, we will soon be offering in-house blood draws for PrecivityAD2, an advanced Alzheimer’s biomarker blood test that can help determine whether Alzheimer’s-related changes may be contributing to cognitive decline.

🧠 Don’t guess. Get evaluated. Find answers 🧠

So Be on the lookout for more information very soon about our new in-house Alzheimer’s biomarker testing.

Contact me for more information or to schedule an evaluation.

💜 ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE — MORE TIME MATTERS💜

I will continue educating our community and surrounding communities about the treatment options available for Alzheimer’s disease.

There are two medications that can modestly slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease in appropriate patients.

Although, They are not a cure, and they cannot reverse damage that has already occurred. But slowing the disease may mean more time for someone to be themselves, remain independent, and make memories with the people they love—while we continue to hope for the breakthroughs still to come!

If you or someone you love is experiencing memory loss and you’re unsure whether it could be dementia related to Alzheimer’s disease, please reach out.

Your quality of life matters—to you and to your family. Come get some answers.

🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — 25 YEARS 🇺🇸

September 11, 2001 – September 11, 2026

Today marks 25 years since a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember all the lives lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, military members, healthcare workers, and ordinary citizens who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We also remember September the 12th, the unity that followed—the compassion, strength, and resilience of a nation that stood together.

Twenty-five years have passed, but we continue to honor their lives, their sacrifice, and their memory.

May we teach future generations what happened that day and why we made a promise that must endure:

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🕊️ In remembrance of September 11, 2001.

🧠 Parkinson’s Symposium & Film Screening 🧠

We were honored to be part of the recent Parkinson’s Symposium & Film Screening at FSU Panama City, an evening dedicated to education, awareness, and support for individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease.

Jenny Reeves, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, owner of Forget-Me-Not Dementia Clinic & Other Neurology Services, had the privilege of speaking on:

🧠A special thank you to the organizers, fellow speakers, sponsors, and everyone who attended and helped make this symposium possible.
