❤️ Congratulations, Michael Hubbard! ❤️

My experience walking through the doors of Peer Solutions for the very first time was intimidating, and I was filled with nervousness. However, the people who worked there genuinely cared about everyone who walked through those doors. I was given a chance when I felt there were no chances left, and for that, I am truly grateful.

With the help of my case manager, my therapist, group meetings, and private conversations, things became much clearer. My load became lighter, and I began to find inner peace within myself. Setbacks happen, and I experienced one, but it made me look at things more seriously and realize how much I had to change.

Today, through the help I received and the accomplishments I’ve achieved, I am becoming the person I always wanted to be but couldn’t be while my addiction controlled my life. I am now a productive member of society, and instead of destroying lives, I try to save them.

My PRSS, Ethan, walked with me every step of the way, and that experience humbled me. It helped me realize that there is hope and that I can give hope to others, too.

I am truly grateful to be where I am today, and I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the people at Peer Solutions and the doors I walked through. Thank you, Heaven Mounts, for getting me there, and thank you, Joey Barker, for pounding it into my head and heart that I cannot do this alone without a higher power.

Thank you for giving me a second chance and never giving up on me. You all saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself at the time, but I see it today, and I live it daily.

I can never repay what I’ve been given, but I will give it away for the rest of my days. ❤️

This event means so much because we get to celebrate together, grieve together, remember those we’ve lost, and continue fighting for those still struggling.
