Heading home from PA with a full heart! 🍂 Beautiful views, wonderful friends, inspiring training, and a Halloween parade to wrap it all up. A huge THANK YOU to the most amazing host, Karla McCleary, who has become such a wonderful friend and mentor. I’m grateful for the memories and excited to bring what I learned back to my patients! 🧡

Levels 1 & 2: Complete! 🎉 It’s been an incredible few days of learning, but I’m not finished yet! I’m staying a little longer with my amazing friends to learn how to put all this new knowledge into practice. Excited to take these next steps and bring even more to my patients! 🤍

Some misconceptions have been hanging around for WAY too long and it’s time to put them to rest!
👻 Myofunctional therapy is more than just tongue exercises.
👻 Being able to stick your tongue out does NOT rule out a tongue-tie.
👻 Tongue thrust is about more than just teeth.
👻 Open mouth chewing & smacking aren’t always a manners issue.
👻 Speech therapy and myofunctional therapy are different, but always work better together!
The bottom line? There’s often more going on than meets the eye!
