Public Service Announcement to anyone who is starting out with a new venture or even been at it for a while.. If you want to grow your page and want others to follow you and your business/side hustle, then I suggest you follow them back. Hell go on multiple peoples profiles and start following random people they follow. That helps build a more adverse type of clientele and it reaches further than just local..
If a page isnt following others when I check their profile after they constantly send me invites, that just shows you where their mindset lies.. Do not ask me to follow you and help YOU grow by sharing YOUR posts for YOUR page if you are not willing to pay me or anyone else the same courtesy...That's just rude..
I started following people to try and support them but I quickly learned many don't share the same heart I do..
I will no longer support, share, invite or interact with your pages posts if you're not participating in doing the same for others.. I have almost 5000 followers on my personal page Boujee Marie Singletary.. . Many of my followers are from other states. Not just local.. So the reach is there if I made more consistant content..
If you can't tell by now by the over 8,000 people I follow then idk what to tell you.. I'll be danmned if you send me an invite to follow you and you actually know me, Interact with me outside of Facebook and know all about my business/side hustles but still don't/won't support me or share anything I post with my business name on it.. Dont expect me to share or invite anyone to yours..
That's a 2 way street ;) . All it requires is a little effort on your part.
I will no longer put forth effort to those who don't or won't put forth for me..
I will support those who are generous with their support...
I have worked my butt off in the last 2 years working a full-time job , doing side jobs growing a following with content and engaging with others pages, starting a homestead amongst other projects has me busy also....
Gaining a following takes a village, and fighting this REDICULOUS algorithm can make you go insane.. It takes more tham posting.. it requires word of mouth, invites, consistency, and effort.. If you only want to grow yourself and not want to help others then stay outta my lane..
