I had posted this early on when I was opening Hero Nutrition, but since more new people have asked how I came up with the name I wanted to post this again. Thank you to everyone who has been supporting my venture. It means more than you know!

What’s in a name? ❤️

People have asked how I came up with the name Hero Nutrition. The answer was actually pretty easy—but it has more than one meaning.

For anyone who doesn’t know my mom’s story, cancer has been her nemesis… more times than I care to count.

After a year of intensive treatments in 2025, we finally got the news that she was in remission that November. Fast forward just a few months to February, and we got the gut-punch news that it had already returned.

Through every diagnosis, every treatment, every setback and every battle, she handles it all with more grace and class than I could ever put into words. The fact that she is still here, still fighting, is a true testament to her grit and strength.

My mom is my LITERAL HERO. ❤️

So Hero Nutrition is, first and foremost, a tribute to her—the woman who gives so selflessly, has always been my biggest cheerleader, and somehow just makes everyone around her want to be a better person.

But there’s another layer to the name.

HERO has also been an acronym my mom has used for years when referring to my brother and me:

HE — Heather
RO — Rob

And because my dad was also Robert, the RO in HERO has become an extra-special nod to his memory, too.

I pray he’s looking down on me, smiling and cheering me on as I start this new chapter. ❤️

So, what’s in a name?

For me, Hero Nutrition holds my mom’s strength, my family, my dad’s memory, and a whole lot of love.

It’s so much more than a business name.
It’s personal. ❤️

I’m BACK and ready for a great week at Hero Nutrition! 💚🙌

After a weekend filled with training, learning, and some much-needed quality time with my family, I’m feeling refreshed, recharged, and INSPIRED!

A HUGE thank you to Rachael Murdock Baker for holding down the fort while I was away! I’m so grateful! 💚

I’ve got some fresh ideas and exciting things in the works to make Hero Nutrition even better for YOU! Stay tuned…good things are coming! 👀✨
