We just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our Wild Rose families, both past and present.

Over the last few days, we have been reminded just how special this little village of ours truly is.

To the families who have reached out offering to send their husbands to help with generators, clean up fallen trees at Wild Rose, lift heavy things, or simply lend a hand wherever it was needed…thank you.

To those who opened their homes and offered us a place to eat, shower, sleep, recharge, or just sit and catch our breath…thank you.

And to every single one of you who sent a simple text to check on us, even while navigating your own struggles and challenges from this storm…please know those little gestures meant more than you could ever imagine.

You didn’t have to do any of those things, but you did. And we will never forget it.

When we started Wild Rose, our hearts were set on creating something bigger than just midwifery care. We wanted to build a village. A place where families felt safe, supported, loved, and never alone.

And somewhere along the way, while we were busy building that village for our families, our families were busy building that very same village around us. 🥹

What a beautiful reminder that community goes both ways.

We are so incredibly grateful for each of you, for the love you’ve shown us, and for the way you’ve wrapped your arms around our little team during such a difficult time.

This is what Wild Rose Village STRONG looks like. 🌹💪🏼

We love y’all more than words can say. Thank you for being our village, too. 🤍

With so much love and gratitude,

Your Wild Rose team 🌹

🌸 Happy National Midwifery Week! 🌸

To be with women is so much more than a profession. It is a calling, a privilege, and a beautiful reminder that we were created for moments just like these. 🤎

We are invited into some of the most sacred and vulnerable moments of a family’s life. We get to hold space, offer encouragement, wipe tears, celebrate strength, and gently remind women of the power they have always carried within them.

Some days are long, some moments are hard, but every single family reminds us why we answered this calling.

“For such a time as this.” — Esther 4:14 🌿

Here’s to the beautiful work of being with women. May we never lose sight of what an honor it truly is.

With love,
Your Wild Rose Midwives 🌹

September was short, sweet, and beautifully peaceful. 🌊🤍

Just one birth.

One beautiful family.

One sweet little beachy babe who waited until his due date to make his entrance into the world.

And somehow, it was exactly what September needed to be.

On beautiful Pensacola Beach, with waves crashing against the shore just outside the bedroom window, a mother labored to meet her second baby.

The room was quiet.
The setting was serene.
The people surrounding her believed deeply in her.

But birth has a way of asking us to dig into the places where fear and strength live side by side.

There were moments of doubt. Moments when she questioned whether she could keep going. And in those moments, we simply kept reminding her of what we already knew:

You are safe.
You are supported.
You are strong.
And you can do this.

She worked through every wave—both the ones within her and the ones crashing just outside her window.

And then came surrender.

With one final, powerful roar, Marlo Dune made his way earthside early that afternoon, on his due date, surrounded by quiet, love, and the people who had been holding space for him all along. 🤎

And just like that, everything was still.

Baby in his mother’s arms.
The waves continuing to roll onto the shore.
A mother realizing she had done the very thing she wasn’t always sure she could do.

There is something incredibly sacred about witnessing that moment.

September didn’t bring us many births, but it gave us one we will hold close for a very long time.

Sweet Marlo Dune, our little September beach babe. 🌊

To this beautiful family—thank you for trusting us with your birth space. Thank you for allowing us to remind you of your strength when you needed it most, and thank you for allowing Wild Rose to walk alongside your family as it grew once more.

What a beautiful way to close out our short, sweet September. 🌹🤍

Safe. Supported. Strong.

At Wild Rose, prenatal visits are about more than checking on baby—they’re about caring for the whole family. 🌿🌹

We love welcoming siblings into the experience, no matter how big or small. Let them help find baby’s heartbeat, measure Mama’s belly, ask all their curious questions, or simply snuggle close while we visit.

A new baby is a journey for the whole family, and we believe siblings deserve to feel included, connected, and excited about the little person they’re waiting to meet. 🤍

Little hands are always welcome here. 🌹
