Happy National Aesthetician Day! October 15th is just one day, but our aestheticians are worth celebrating all year long!

🚨 Friends and Patients — we need your help.

Medicare is proposing changes that could dramatically cut reimbursement for skin cancer care and make it harder for seniors to access their dermatologists.

One proposed change would cut procedures performed on the same day as a visit. For many dermatology procedures, reimbursement could fall below the cost of the supplies needed to perform them.

What could that mean for patients?

➡️ You may be asked to come back for a second visit instead of having a procedure performed while you're already there.

➡️ Some dermatology practices may have to reconsider whether they can continue accepting Medicare patients.

That means longer waits, more appointments, and potentially less access to the dermatologists seniors rely on to detect and treat skin cancer.

💥 And you do NOT have to be on Medicare to sign. Anyone can add their voice.
