Some of the best memories return one slide at a time.

This Senior Living Week, John, who lives in Independent Living, and his wife, Susan, who lives in Personal Care, invited residents on a journey through British Columbia in the 1970s. Using vintage photo slides and John’s old-school projector, they shared scenes from a family vacation filled with the warmth of film, the unmistakable style of the decade, and stories that moved everyone in the room.

It was an enriching afternoon and a beautiful reminder of how personal stories bring our community closer as we continue Shining Through the Years!

Our residents tried their lucky hand at our new Blackjack table, complete with a real card table, chips, and an automatic shuffler. Kaelin, our Personal Care Administrator, was happy to deal, turning each hand into more time for conversation, laughter, and connection.
