Different colors. Different journeys. One alliance in the fight against cancer.

Throughout October, our Alliance Cancer Specialists teams continue to wear pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, standing together in support of patients, survivors, families, and everyone impacted by cancer. This week, we're proud to spotlight our dedicated providers and staff at our Sellersville and Doylestown locations in Bucks County, who are coming together to show their support and reinforce a commitment that extends far beyond one awareness month.

While pink represents an important cause, we recognize that every cancer diagnosis carries its own challenges, experiences, and journey. From breast and lung cancer to colorectal cancer, blood cancers, and beyond, every patient deserves access to experienced oncology providers, personalized treatment, and compassionate support close to home. We're proud to serve our neighbors throughout Bucks County and surrounding communities, building meaningful relationships and providing the expertise, compassion, and continuity of care patients deserve.

Metabolic health is your body's ability to turn food into energy and keep things like blood sugar, weight, and blood pressure in a healthy range. When metabolic health is affected by conditions such as fatty liver disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, or heavy alcohol use, it can impact more than your heart and liver—it may also increase your risk for certain cancers. Talk to your doctor if you have:

New or unexplained weight loss
New diabetes after age 50
Persistent abdominal or back pain
Liver disease or cirrhosis
Abnormal liver imaging or blood tests
A family history of liver, pancreatic, or gastrointestinal cancers

Every step represents someone’s story.

Alliance Cancer Specialists was proud to participate in this weekend’s 23rd Annual Valley Road Run in support of Breathing Room Foundation and the families they serve throughout their cancer journey. Events like this bring patients, families, caregivers and community partners together around a shared purpose. Reminding those facing cancer that support extends far beyond the walls of the treatment room.
Dr. Sramila Aithal of Alliance Cancer Specialists in Bensalem and Breathing Room board member, shared what this event and its mission mean to her,

“There is hope for every cancer patient and strength is coming together as a community to fight the same cause together with this run. Alliance Cancer Specialists is proud to stand with Breathing Room Foundation serving the same cause together with this run."

Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, volunteered and showed their support. Through this run, we run for hope, we run for healing, and we run to remind every person facing cancer that they are not alone.

Today is National Mammography Day. Screening is the most effective way to detect early-stage breast cancer, when it is easiest to treat. Current guidelines recommend:

Women between ages 40 and 74 should be screened annually with a mammogram.
Women 75 and over should continue with mammograms as long as their overall health is good and they have a life expectancy of 10 or more years.
Women with a higher than average risk should be screened with an MRI and mammogram every year beginning at age 30.

Talk to your physician about your risk level and your recommended screenings.

We wear pink for a reason. We fight cancer in every color. đź’—

Throughout October, our Alliance Cancer Specialists team members and providers continue to come together in pink, standing in support of those impacted by breast cancer and honoring the strength, courage, and resilience of patients, survivors, families, and loved ones.

This week, we're proud to highlight the incredible teams at our Horsham location in Montgomery County, Bensalem location serving Greater Northeast Philadelphia, and Langhorne location in Bucks County, who are showing their support and reminding us what it means to stand together in the fight against cancer.

For our local communities, fighting cancer means more than providing treatment. It means ensuring our neighbors have access to expert oncology care close to home, building meaningful relationships with patients and their families, and providing compassionate, personalized support through every stage of their journey. While October shines a spotlight on breast cancer awareness, our commitment extends beyond one color, one diagnosis, and one month. At Alliance Cancer Specialists, we fight cancer in all colors.

From Montgomery County to Bucks County and Greater Northeast Philadelphia, we're proud to stand alongside the communities we call home, providing the expertise, compassion, and continuity of care our patients deserve.

Different colors. Different journeys. One alliance in the fight against cancer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Alliance is officially in pink.

Across our nine locations, Alliance Cancer Specialists team members and providers are wearing pink in recognition of everyone impacted by breast cancer. Our patients, survivors, families, caregivers, and the loved ones we carry with us. But for us, wearing pink represents something bigger. Alliance Cancer Specialists fight cancer in every color. Every ribbon represents a person, a family, and a story.

Throughout October, we’ll be highlighting the incredible support shown across our nine Pennsylvania locations and sharing some heartfelt messages written on pink ribbons by our own team members. Each ribbon and every team member in pink tells a story of someone loved, someone missed, someone fighting, or someone who has inspired us along the way. Awareness brings us together, but compassion, connection, and support are what carry us forward. We believe no one should have to face cancer alone, and we're committed to standing beside our patients every step of the way.

This October, we’re proud to stand together in alliance.
