Originally from Cuba, Yasmani Ramirez, known as SOSA (), built his name on color realism. High-detail portraiture sits alongside dark surrealism and anime-inspired pieces in his portfolio. Intricate geometric patterns and pop culture homages round out the range, all tied together by smooth value transitions and deep contrast. His linework stays crisp even in his most complex compositions. Every piece is shaped to flow with the body it's placed on, whether he's working in his home studio or a guest spot on the road.

🎨 INK MASTER WINNER WITH A LUCASFILM LICENSE
Chris Sparks () has been tattooing in Austin, Texas since 2007. He competed on Ink Master Season 10 and went on to win Ink Master: Grudge Match. He's a Lucasfilm Ltd. licensed tattoo artist, known for cinematic and sci-fi pieces. Neo-traditional and pop culture are his lane, with bold, dynamic designs and plenty of detail packed in. His illustrative background shows, especially when he reimagines childhood themes as one-of-a-kind custom work. He also served as a Navy corpsman from 2005 to 2009.

TWO YEARS IN A ROW. HERE'S THE PIECE THAT DID IT.

Matthew Moore () of Fiddle & Fern (.tattoo) took Best of Show in New Orleans this weekend. It's his second year in a row.

Take a closer look at the piece. Look at the linework, the packing and how it sits on the skin. This is what happens when someone shows up to the floor and does the work in front of everybody.

This is the kind of art Villain Arts exists for. Artists who push the craft, a room full of people who notice, and a floor where it all happens live.
