It’s that time again… your monthly reminder ✨
Somewhere along the way, we started treating the consequences of a broken healthcare system as personal failures.
Exhaustion became a resilience problem.
Unsafe workloads became time management problems.
Speaking up became an attitude problem.
And leaving became a lack of dedication.
We’ve spent so much time asking healthcare professionals to be stronger, more flexible, more resilient, more understanding.
But when do we start asking the system to be better?
You can love being a nurse and hate what healthcare has become.
You can be deeply committed to your patients and refuse to sacrifice yourself to prove it.
And you can be an incredible nurse who has simply had enough.
We don’t need to fix the people who are keeping healthcare alive. We need to fix what keeps breaking them.
Protecting the profession means protecting the people in it.
