I do not wish a mold journey on anyone… going through it can feel helpless and can leave you feeling hopeless and isolated. Especially when you’re in the depths of fighting it! If you know someone close to you going through mold, understand that they are walking through a daily battle. Shower them with love, grace, compassion and support them where you can.
For those going through it, don’t get sucked in and lost in the fight. You CAN heal and you CAN feel safe again. Regardless of what the mold communities and groups will tell you and fear monger you with. Mold is not a boogy man… You do not have to run from it your entire life. But you will have to take ownership of your health and take control of the environments that you can, in order to heal.
Running from it for the rest of your life and being afraid of it around every corner is not the answer. That fear will only feed the problem.
There are solutions to remove it from the body. There are solutions to decontaminate your environment. There are ways to reduce exposure and lower your burden if you are stuck in a moldy situation. The goal is progress, not perfection. Keep moving forward!
Take your hope back and hold on to that feeling that one day soon, the weight will drop and pressure will cease.
If you are walking through a mold journey and looking for support, one-off 1-1 Consults can be booked at anytime on BurchBear.com.
Everybody’s journey is a little bit different and if you need help, I would love to help work with you to put a game plan together to get you moving forward.
