Strong Bones and Stable Feet Support Independence

World Osteoporosis Day is a reminder that bone health, strength, balance, footwear, and safe movement all matter.

Foot pain, numbness, deformities, weak support, or unstable shoes may change how someone walks and potentially contribute to instability. Valley Foot Care provides foot, gait, footwear, circulation, neuropathy, and custom-orthotic evaluations.

Our family-owned practice gives patients time to describe their concerns and understand their options.

New patients welcome. Call (602) 938-8400.

Every Child Deserves to Run and Play Comfortably

Children may not always explain foot pain clearly. Instead, parents may notice:

* Limping after sports or school
* Avoiding activities they normally enjoy
* Heel or leg pain
* Frequent ankle sprains
* Flat feet with fatigue or discomfort
* Unusual shoe wear
* Painful plantar warts or ingrown toenails

For World Pediatric Bone and Joint Day, remind families that persistent pain or changes in walking deserve attention.

Dr. Marisa Haddad and the Valley Foot Care team provide compassionate pediatric foot and gait evaluations. We take time to listen to parents, help children feel comfortable, and explain what we find without rushing the visit.

🚶 Getting back to the activities you love starts with the right plan.

October is National Physical Therapy Month—a chance to recognize the professionals who help patients improve movement and function.

For some foot and ankle conditions, your podiatrist may recommend physical therapy as part of your care.

At Valley Foot Care, Inc., we explain your options and help you understand the next steps.

👟 Your feet have their own way of moving. Your orthotics should reflect that.

For World Spine Day, we’re highlighting the importance of understanding how you walk.

At Valley Foot Care, Inc., our providers assess foot structure, walking mechanics, symptoms, and footwear before recommending an orthotic or another treatment option.

Have orthotics from elsewhere that feel uncomfortable? Bring them to your evaluation.

🌟 Every child deserves to run, play, explore and keep up with their friends!

Foot or leg pain can sometimes cause children to sit out sports, playground fun and other activities that help build confidence, friendships and healthy development.

Keep an eye out for:

🏃 Frequent tripping or clumsiness
⚽ Heel pain after sports or play
🦶 Persistent toe walking
👟 Feet turning inward or outward
🌈 Flat feet, limping or avoiding activities

These concerns may be more than “growing pains.” Early evaluation can help children stay comfortably active and doing what they love.

If you have concerns about your child’s feet, legs or walking pattern, schedule an evaluation with Dr. Marisa Haddad at Valley Foot Care, Inc.

👟 Your feet are unique. Your support should be, too.

Custom foot orthotics are designed around how your feet move and bear weight. If heel pain, flat feet, a bone spur, or an orthotic that never felt quite right is slowing you down, our podiatrists can evaluate your feet and help you find the right support.

Peeling or white skin between your toes that keeps coming back?

At Valley Foot Care, we regularly treat persistent athlete’s foot and other conditions that cause peeling, whitening, itching, or cracked skin between the toes. Cracks in the skin can also allow bacteria to enter and cause a deeper infection.

Finding the cause helps us choose the right treatment. When appropriate, we may use PCR testing to help identify organisms in a skin sample. A Wood’s lamp exam can also reveal clues to certain bacterial conditions that may look like athlete’s foot.

If the skin between your toes keeps causing trouble, we can help you get answers.

New patients welcome. Call (602) 938-8400 or visit www.onyourfeetaz.com.
