For more than three decades, listening has been at the center of Vesna Matic’s work and the foundation of Visions for Life. That work is rooted in a simple truth: people rarely need louder answers. Often, they need language for something they already feel but have not yet been able to name.

This December, Vesna will represent Visions for Life at the 4th Annual International Conference by Global Speakers Talk, taking place December 7–14, 2026.

For Visions for Life, a global stage is not simply about visibility. It is an opportunity for one honest idea, carried across cultures and life experiences, to help someone see their own life differently.

Before Monday begins asking things of us, we are letting Sunday be enough.

Some weeks leave more with us than we realize. Staying busy can keep that weight at a distance, but it does not make it disappear.

At Visions for Life, we do not believe transformation means becoming someone else. Our Morocco journey makes room to step outside routine and meet what daily life has kept at a distance.

At Visions for Life, listening is not simply part of the work. It is where the work begins.

Our founder, Vesna Matic, has spent more than three decades listening to the truths people struggle to put into words. That experience has shaped a belief at the heart of Visions for Life: people are rarely moved by perfect language. We remember the moment we recognize something of our own lives in another person’s story.

From December 7 to 14, Vesna will join speakers from around the world for the 4th Annual International Conference by Global Speakers Talk.

We are grateful to see the voice behind Visions for Life become part of this global conversation, and equally curious about what she will learn from lives and perspectives different from her own.

Visions for Life has been shaped by the work our founder, Vesna Maticc, has done with people for more than three decades. It has been shaped just as deeply by her own path through psychology, spiritual study, sweat lodges, ceremony, and journeys far from home.

One lesson sits at the heart of our work: real change does not always begin with an answer. Sometimes, it begins when the familiar can no longer answer for us.

For us, Morocco gives this lesson a different language. Marrakech draws attention outward; the Sahara turns it inward. Neither experience is more truthful. Together, they show how easily parts of ourselves can go unheard when life remains at only one volume.

Visions for Life grew from something our founder, Vesna Matic, learned through both study and lived experience: healing cannot be confined to what we understand intellectually.

Her education in psychology gave her one way of understanding trauma and the human experience. Her spiritual path through sweat lodges, Sun Dance, Peruvian rites, and sacred places around the world gave her another. These experiences changed her personally and have shaped more than three decades of her work.

Our Morocco journey brings these parts of Vesna’s life together. From the vitality of Marrakech to the stillness of the Sahara, she guides an experience rooted in cultural immersion, ceremony, reflection, and her belief that healing begins with being truly seen and heard.

We often wait to speak until we feel certain our words are ready. Yet what reaches another person most deeply is rarely perfection. It is the recognition of something honestly lived.

Escape seeks relief from reality. Psychological distance creates room to understand it.

At Visions for Life, we understand that stepping away is not always avoidance. Sometimes we are too close to our roles, routines, and responsibilities to recognize the patterns they create. Distance does not solve what we face, but it can change the quality of attention we bring to it.
