Meet Patty Aguilar, our latest Heart of Valleywise Health spotlight!

Patty started working at Valleywise Health more than 20 years ago as a temp filing paperwork. Today, she’s an HIM Senior Integrity Specialist and a mom of four who trusts Valleywise Health to care for her own family.

“When I first started here, I didn’t have any kids. Now I have four, and they’ve grown up receiving care at Valleywise Health. I trust our physicians and our team, and I always tell my family, ‘Go to Valleywise Health. They’ll take care of you.’”

Patty has been supporting the Foundation since the beginning of her career at Valleywise Health and takes great pride in seeing the impact that generosity has on patients and families throughout our community.

A special way to keep loved ones close. 🧸💙

Through the new Heartbeat Bears program at Valleywise Health, a patient’s heartbeat can be recorded and placed inside a keepsake bear for their loved ones, creating a meaningful source of comfort and connection.

We’re incredibly grateful to Smith Chason College for making this program possible and helping us bring an extra touch of compassion to the patients and families we serve.

More advanced heart care is coming to Valleywise Health. ❤️

Thanks to a generous $130,000 grant from Vitalyst Health Foundation AZ, Valleywise Health is expanding cardiovascular services and building capacity to provide advanced procedures, including cardiac bypass surgery.

This investment will help more patients across Maricopa County access the complex cardiac care they need, right here at Valleywise Health.
