September was a great month! Our team members were proud to participate in 130 community events across the state, connecting with neighbors. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello as we continue our mission to support the health and well-being of our communities. We are in October and that means more free farmers markets! This month, we have seven Farm-to-Family events where thousands of pounds of fresh produce will be given out. These events are first come, first serve. Food can run out. We hope to see you at an event this month! Details below:

Last week, Highmark Wholecare and Allegheny Health Network's Departments of Pediatrics and OB-GYN held a free farmers market and diaper giveaway at Allegheny Commons Park West in the North Side of Pittsburgh. At the Farm-to-Family event, 8,500 pounds of fresh produce and 100 cases of diapers were given out to more than 500 families. Thanks to all who came out. We're glad to support our communities with events like these!
