This year’s program will feature Curtis Pride, former Major League Baseball player, First Full-Season Deaf Player in Modern MLB History, and disability advocate.
We will also honor Dr. Rory A. Cooper, PhD, PLY, Professor and Director of the Human Engineering Research Laboratories, National Medal laureate, and Paralympic medalist, for his leadership and contributions to the disability community.
Chaz Kellem, disability rights advocate and nonprofit leader, will serve as emcee.
The evening will include storytelling and conversation, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and an art sale featuring work by student artists from participating disability organizations.
Tickets are $75 per person. A limited number of $35 discounted tickets are available for people for whom the full ticket price is a barrier. There is no charge for a personal attendant accompanying a registered attendee who needs that support.
