Does anyone else’s cat insist on being part of their crystal grids or crystal energy work? 😂🔮🐈‍⬛

Wigz never misses an opportunity to soak up some crystal energy! ✨💎❤️

Sometimes yoga looks like movement, stretching, and showing up on your mat. 🧘‍♀️

Other times, it looks like slowing down and curling up on the couch with your cat. 🐾💕

Yoga isn’t just about the poses. It’s about listening to your body and honoring what it needs.

Because rest is part of the practice, too. 🌿💗

Recently, I came across the Nine Prayers shared by Buddhist teacher Thích Nhất Hạnh, and their messages of peace, compassion, love, and joy really resonated with me. 💙

The prayers begin with “May I…” as heartfelt intentions. When I shared them with my partner, Darrick, he suggested speaking them as though these qualities were already present within us.

I loved that perspective! It reminded me of the “I am” affirmations I’ve been incorporating into my life, so I adapted the prayers into affirmations while honoring the wisdom of the original teachings.

Now, I say them every morning and before bed, planting seeds of peace, love, and joy in my thoughts and energy, nurturing them each day. 🌱✨

✨ What is one thing you’d like to nurture a little more within yourself?

You never know who’s going to show up for a Reiki session! 😂✨

He came in with some chaotic energy… and left tiptoeing in his Jordans! 👟🤣🙌

I took the day off from my day job today for a little
Joyful Soul adventure!💫

I had the honor of being a guest on the Original Bliss Podcast, and it was such a wonderful experience! 🎙️💚
I loved getting to visit the beautiful Green Heiress Wellness Collective studio, sit down with Susan and chat, and share a little bit about my story, my journey, and Joyful Soul. ✨

I can’t wait for the episode to come out!

Then I came home, kicked off my shoes, and spent a little time outside grounding before seeing a Reiki client tonight. 🌿☀️

Today was a great reminder that those who spend their days caring for others need care, too. 💙✨

I had such a great time at a therapist mixer in Mt. Lebanon, offering mini Reiki sessions, sharing my energy sprays, and connecting with therapists and other wellness providers.

I also loved spending the afternoon alongside my friend Amy from ARTuition and making some new connections along the way! 💜

Thank you to Rooted & Rising Therapy and Core Connections for having me and creating such a wonderful afternoon of connection, community, and self-care. ✨

Wigz loves his crystals. 💎🐾

And yes… he really does have favorites. 😂 Amethyst and selenite are probably at the top of his list. I’ll find him lying on my amethyst mat right up against my big amethyst wand, or sometimes even lying on top of my selenite wands.

One of my favorite Wigz crystal moments happened at the vet. He gets pretty worked up there, so I brought an amethyst palm stone and gently rubbed it along him while the vet tech was working with him. He actually started to settle down, and she looked at me and said, “Oh my God, that worked!” 😂💜

At home, I’ll sometimes let him choose which crystals he wants to be around. I may place one beside him, use a quartz point around his energy, or sometimes gently pet him with a crystal—which he seems to really enjoy. 💎

And these aren’t just for cats! They can be used around dogs and other animals, too. Wigz just happens to be my fur baby and official Joyful Soul crystal tester. 🐾💙

I always make sure any crystals around Wigz are too large for him to swallow and keep small stones safely out of reach.
