Food as Medicine Starting in October 5, 2026 7pm virtual

Food is powerful. The foods you eat every day can help your body heal, stay strong, and prevent disease.

Lifestyle Medicine helps you look at the real causes of health problems. Instead of only treating symptoms, it helps you make healthy changes that can improve how you feel and live.

Our team can help you find habits that may be hurting your health and replace them with healthier ones. One of the most important changes is eating more plant foods that are high in fiber, such as fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains, nuts, and seeds.

When you eat healthy foods, you can:

• Manage your weight

• Lower blood pressure

• Lower cholesterol

• Improve or even reverse type 2 diabetes

• Improve heart health

• Have more energy

• Reduce pain and inflammation

• Think more clearly

• Feel stronger and healthier

Food is only one part of good health. Lifestyle Medicine also focuses on:

• Moving your body regularly

• Getting enough sleep

• Managing stress

• Building healthy daily habits

Small changes can make a big difference. By choosing healthy foods and healthy habits, you can take control of your health and feel your best.

Launching Sexual Health Dec 28 2026 1pm virtual with Dr Amanda Lacue OB/GYN and Dr Michelle Thompson SEXUAL HEALTH & WELL-BEING IN PERIMENOPAUSE & MENOPAUSE: Changes in sexual health are common during perimenopause and menopause, but many women do not talk about them. Because these symptoms are not always well understood, some women may blame themselves or think something is wrong with them. In reality, these changes are a normal part of the menopause transition and are often treatable. Many concerns can improve with education, healthy lifestyle habits, and medical care.
In this shared medical appointment, you will learn how changing hormone levels can affect sexual health and overall well-being during midlife. We will discuss common symptoms, treatment options, ways to communicate with partners, and strategies to support intimacy, comfort, and confidence. This group visit offers a safe and supportive space to learn, ask questions, and connect with others experiencing similar changes. Participants will leave with practical tools and resources to help improve their sexual health, quality of life, and overall well-being. Call or email to schedule [email protected] or 412-647-8611
