A rollator can be a treadmill.
But PLEASE don’t put your rollator on an actual treadmill. 😂
Hear me out.
A rollator is often a necessary mobility aid.
But it can ALSO be a piece of exercise equipment.
For many people, it’s both.
It provides the support they need while helping them take more steps, walk faster, and cover longer distances for better exercise.
Plus, there’s a seat when they need a break.
My grandma calls hers her “treadmill on wheels.”
She doesn’t need it around the house, but outside, it allows her to walk a full mile at 87 years old. I think that’s pretty damn good!
She says she couldn't walk a mile without her rollator due to her back and slight balance issues.
All of this to say - don't view rollators just as mobility aids; see them as a gateway to more exercise too 💪
