After 11 years, I have made the decision to close Scarton Nutrition effective October 1. 💛
With the recent announcement that the UPMC Center for Integrative Medicine will be closing, I found myself reflecting on my own practice and what I wanted the next chapter of my work to look like. After much thought, I realized this felt like the right time to close my private practice.
I am incredibly grateful for the patients, physicians, colleagues and friends who have supported Scarton Nutrition over the past 11 years. Most of all, I am grateful to the many patients who have trusted me to be part of their health journey. It has truly been a privilege.
While Scarton Nutrition is closing, I am not retiring from nutrition practice! I want to reassure my current patients that I will continue providing nutrition care through Nourish, where I have also been working virtually for the past 2 1/2 years. This transition will allow us to continue working together in a convenient virtual setting, with the same personalized, compassionate care you have come to expect from me.
Nourish connects patients with registered dietitians and works with many insurance plans. I am excited to continue supporting my patients through Nourish and to spend more of my time doing the part of my work I love most—working directly with patients. If you are currently working with me and would like to continue, I would be honored to remain part of your health journey.
