💛 Come see Shannon before she goes! 💛
We’re feeling a lot of emotions around here lately. Our little community has had some changes, and this week we’re saying goodbye to another very special part of our team.

If you know Shannon, you know she brightens every room she walks into! She is our artist, our creative spirit, and—yes—wonderfully quirky. 🎨✨ She has brought her own unique magic, talent, humor, and personality to our space, and we are so grateful that she has been part of our story.

While Nikolas has physically moved on to a new chapter, Shannon is moving on to hers—and even though these goodbyes are bittersweet, we want to celebrate them for what they are doing! They are people we love, who love; growing, changing, and moving forward.

So, if Shannon has ever made you laugh, created something beautiful for you, brightened your day, or simply made your visit a little more Shannon… come see her before her shift ends Wednesday at 3 PM. 💛

Today is a sad day, it’s Nikolas’s last day. To know Nikolas is to love Nikolas. He is a rare breed; so kind, so compassionate, patient and funny. We know he won’t only be missed by the team but also by the community. Nikolas is moving to the Santa Cruz mountains and we wish him nothing but the best. Our doors will always be open for his return. Letting go can be so hard but we are so grateful for the time we got to share with him. Stop by today and leave him a little note or to simply wish him well. We will miss you Nikolas!!

This year, I’ve noticed more cannabis bills — and more regulations affecting our industry — than ever before. That tells me something important: times are changing, and progress is finally happening.

Lately, I’ve been busy in meetings at the state level working on legislation and rescheduling efforts, but every year I also make the trip to DC to help educate offices and lobby on a federal level.

The truth is, too few operators are willing to do this work.

Here in our county, Tahoe Wellness and Chuck’s are among the only ones working beyond the local level to help protect your rights, improve taxes and regulations, and fight for safe access. We do it because of you.

We know our community needs people willing to knock on doors, speak up, and keep pushing for fair policies for patients, consumers, and small businesses alike.

We are not criminals. We are proud of the service we provide, and we truly hope we’re making a difference.

For the first time in a long time, it feels like there’s light at the end of the tunnel — and some good years ahead.

Also, partner Kimberly Cargile graduated in Maryland on Tues with a masters in medical cannabis science! One of 700 people in the world hold this degree, congratulations Kimberly! She created a training program for our team (and others) on the latest science as we know it, exciting time! 👏 proud of you Kimberly!

I think we have finally recovered from all the hard work that went into putting out another fabulous 4/20! The staff started with the HIGH vibes and ended just as HIGH! Thank you to all the STAFF (product and floor staff), the vendors and customers for showing up and showing out all day!
