Can you believe we have three generations of incredible Circle Tail dogs in this photo?!

Starling and Bara are pictured here with their son Yeontan. Now Yeon is passing on the wonderful family traits to Fannie and her siblings from our Vivica x Yeon litter. Starling serves as a Circle Tail Ambassador Dog while Bara is a Facility Dog with the Athens County Sheriff's Office. Yeon is preparing for placement as either an Assistance or Facility Dog soon, and we know Fannie and her siblings will grow up to change lives too.

This week's Throwback Thursday features Melvyn!

Melvyn was just a tiny puppy only a few months ago, but now he is off to college to learn with his Miami University student foster. He's already off to a fabulous start with a visit to the Oxford Fire Department to see the fire trucks and ambulances.

We can't wait to see everything he learns during his time at Miami U!

In honor of World Mental Health Day, we wanted to share the impact Circle Tail Facility Dogs can have on the people they help.

Bruce began his Facility Dog Internship at Montgomery County Educational Service Center - MCESC in August, and he's already changing lives and improving the mental health of students he interacts with. One High School student, Daniella, who has multiple disabilities and receives support through MCESC has been so impacted by Bruce that she started writing letters and drawings for Bruce and his handler, Todd. This connection, fostered by Bruce's presence at school, is helping Daniella achieve both academically and emotionally.

Thanks to incredible donors, Circle Tail can continue to place dogs in facilities to support the mental, social, and cognitive needs of many more people. Help support our mission by becoming a monthly donor. Visit our website www.circletail.org/give to learn more!

Our Fall/Winter 2026 Interns are getting closer to permanent placement, and we're so proud of this group of eleven life-changing dogs and their fantastic handlers.

Last week, these Interns and their handlers joined us at Circle Tail for training to help polish all of the skills they have been working on at their schools and police departments since August. We put this group through rigorous (and fun!) exercises to prepare them for permanent placement in December, and they all rose to the challenge.

Way to go, Facility Dog Intern Teams!

Facility Dog Meg understood the assignment!📸🐾

📸 Picture day came around, and GMS facility dog, Meg, understood the assignment with her fancy bandanna. She posed, she smiled, and she officially secured her spot as "Chief Joy Officer" Meg works hard every single day keeping morale high, offering unconditional support, and expertly making her rounds to visit students- her absolute favorite part of the job. It’s a tough role, but someone’s got to do it!

Drop a ❤️ in the comments if you love her picture! 🐾

Today is World Teachers' Day, so we wanted to take a moment to thank all of the teachers who make a difference in their schools with Circle Tail's Facility Dog Program! These teachers, with the help of their Facility Dogs, change lives every day. We are honored to work with so many incredible educators.

Thank you, teachers!

Last but certainly not least, meet Welkin! Our final Fall/Winter 2026 Facility Dog Intern has been working hard with his team at Wayne-Local Schools Middle & High School to support students in classrooms and counseling sessions. He even gets to attend cheerleading practice! We know Welkin will bring joy to his school for many years to come.

All of our Facility Dog Interns have been working so hard on their skills this semester. We can't wait to update you and share more about this amazing group of ELEVEN dogs and their handlers as they continue their Facility Dog Internship and prepare for permanent placement in December.
