They didn't mention that most of those years she didn't eat beef. Why? Because they could not afford to eat their only income as barely making it ranchers. Nearly all food from hunting alone.

Rancher Maggie is 85 years old and she's been eating a proper human diet for over six decades. Almost two years ago she had an accident that broke her back in two places and left her with 14 broken ribs. She was in the hospital 36 hours, told them she was going home the next day, and 10 days later she was back in her tractor. Within a month she was doing pretty much full chores again.

She also told me why she thinks city folks are so miserable. In her words, walking into a city is like walking into "brain sucking demons." She told me once that when the body is sick, the brain is sick and the spirit is sick, and I've repeated that so many times since. Dr. Anthony Chaffee also tells you what he saw her do at 82, and it's hard to believe.

Maggie says she doesn't have a carnivore story. I told her I don't believe her. Watch it here: https://youtu.be/7DjjnDjAADg

According to this forecast, some moderately nasty air may be on its way for the upper Midwest. Probably not as bad as mid-July (AQI 200+, 400+ in South Bend). Regardless, the beautiful air and blue skies it seemed like we had been waiting ALL YEAR on... might be short lived. Enjoy today! And hope the forecast is wrong.

In this article, we discuss patients exhibiting new-onset agitation, panic attacks, and treatment-resistant depression, all of which may be attributed to Bartonella.
Methods
Three patients receiving care in an outpatient clinical setting developed acute onset personality changes and agitation, depression, and panic attacks. They were retrospectively examined for evidence of Bartonella infections. The medical and psychiatric treatment progress of each patient was tracked until both were significantly resolved and the Bartonella was cured.
Results
The patients generally seemed to require higher dosing of antidepressants, benzodiazepines, or antipsychotics in order to function normally. Doses were reduced following antibiotic treatment and as the presumed signs of Bartonella infection remitted. All patients improved significantly following treatment and returned to their previously healthy or near-normal baseline mental health status.

In order to cross the items on the right off your list, begin the process of checking off the items on the left. For me? I know I have had at least 16 of the symptoms. How many have you had, what on this list looks all too familiar?

Many people don't realize that the Earth or 'dirt' actually has an atmosphere of gas products as well apart from the air we normally breathe outside. Ask someone who works in an underground mine and they will be aware of it, and the dangers. But our homes (unless you're on a slab with v***r barrier) have an interface with this underground gas exposure potential from at least one side if you're on a crawl space and 5 sides if you're in a basement. Add to this all of the interconnect with sewer/ septic, and combustion gases from a furnace/water heater (if applicable) and what it all adds up to is a collection of marginally unsafe things which significantly increase the odds for problems. Carbon Monoxide for example, even if you have an alarm for this, those are by regulation not aloud to sound off until you reach 30 ppm CO. This, despite the EPA recommendation not more than 9 ppm for an 8 hour exposure.

Indoor Air Quality is a world in and of itself. It's almost always part of the problem. And there's not a human on this Earth that won't feel better immediately the next morning if you give this perfect air in the living space. (This part is tricky...)

But hey? It's nice out finally we have blue skies and GREEN outdoor AQI. It feels like we've been waiting all year for this, so good enjoy it !!

Babesia is far more deadly than Lyme disease. It routinely causes mystery fatigue, headaches, weight loss or gain and 200 other possible troubles. The notion Babesia can be ruled out by the use of any lab on earth is dated, flawed and a serious error. Infected patients tested for antibodies and PCR [DNA] routinely are "negative." So people have been falsely trained to feel this deadly and disabling infection is rare. It is not rare at all. This book is 3 books in one -- he gives you a massive foundation in Babesia, and general health related to all aspects of advanced Lyme care. Later Dr. Schaller books build on this foundation which is still new to infection physicians and those called "LL MD's." Important comprehensive medical Information to prevent the misdiagnosis or underdiagnosis of Babesia Infections. Babesia is commonly found with Lyme disease, and -- like all tick infections -- is rarely reported. The deer tick which carries Lyme disease and Babesia may be as small as a poppy seed and injects a painkiller, an antihistamine and an anticoagulant to avoid detection. Various forms of Babesia are carried by deer ticks. This practical clinical medical text introduces health care workers to some new and dangerous Babesia species that infect humans and are not routinely tested for. It also shows Babesia can be present without anemia. Some sample Babesiosis findings include: significant fatigue, coughing, dizziness, trouble thinking, fevers, chills, air hunger, headache and sweats. But many other symptoms are possible. This is the most up to date and complete book for diagnosing and treating all the currently known forms of Babesia. Many forms of Babesia in are not easy to diagnose and most human species are not currently tested for by virtually all laboratories. The treatment options examine all major studies, and also include interviews with top clinicians treating routine and resistant Babesia and a wide range of traditional and credible integrative treatments such as Astemisia derivatives -- a top malaria treatment recommended by the World Health Organization and UNICEF.

Babesia is far more deadly than Lyme disease. It routinely causes mystery fatigue, headaches, weight loss or gain and 200 other possible troubles. The book is typically purchased by patients and not healers, and is easy to understand. The notion Babesia can be ruled out by the use of any lab on e...

Anyone that knows me knows I really don't buy 'products' very often. For cleaning I tend to use things like baking soda, peroxide, vinegar, beef tallow soaps. I will use fragrance free liquid soaps for various things. But the wall to wall products at all the big box stores are off-limits. I would never take the time to read ingredients anyway, I mean who has time for that? As you might be aware if it falls under 'FRAGRANCE' ... doesn't have to be disclosed and the chemical(s) will NOT be on the label. Those are trade secrets. Anyway, I'll pass and stick with the 1800's style way of cleaning or if I need something specific like toothpaste or deodorant head to a local place like Essential Wellness Solutions where I know someone has taken the time to properly vet those ingredients for me!

Phthalates have a bad reputation.

Phthalates are a whole family of chemicals.

A 2021 overview of reviews in Environment International looked across the phthalate family and graded the strength of the human evidence.

ROBUST

The strongest evidence across the phthalate family includes lower semen quality, effects on neurodevelopment in children, and a higher risk of childhood asthma.

MODERATE TO ROBUST

There is also moderate to robust evidence involving shorter anogenital distance in boys, a physical marker researchers use when studying prenatal androgen and reproductive development.

MODERATE

Moderate evidence has been reported for lower birthweight, endometriosis, decreased testosterone, ADHD, Type 2 diabetes, and breast and uterine cancers.

SOME EVIDENCE

Researchers have also found some evidence involving altered fetal s*x hormones, preterm birth, obesity, changes in thyroid function, and hearing disorders, although the evidence in these areas is less consistent.

Important distinction: these findings are across the phthalate family. The phthalate associated with fragrance is called DEP, or diethyl phthalate.

So why are we talking about it?

Because you usually cannot tell whether it is in your product.

US labeling rules allow fragrance formulas to be listed simply as "fragrance." The individual ingredients inside that fragrance mixture generally do not have to appear on the label.

The FDA says this plainly. A consumer may not be able to determine from the ingredient label whether phthalates are present.

That is the issue.

Consumers should be able to know what is in the products they buy.

If the ingredient is considered safe, disclose it.

If it is not in the product, let consumers see that too.

You should not need a chemistry degree, a research paper and blind trust to figure out what is in your shampoo.

That's the ask.

Not a ban.

A label.

Lyme Disease Awareness Post. Key takeaways from the graphic ...

1. If you're in a hotspot, which we more or less are in the upper Midwest then the guy walks into a bar scenario (average person on the street) odds are they are at least asymptomatically carrying one of these categories? About 63% they are, otherwise the National odds are still maybe considered high at about 1 in 5.

2. Maybe people struggling with their health should avoid pets and rodents (at least within their OWN space).

3. This is the most important point - seroprevalence numbers don't mean we are sick, it means there's commonly some small amount there that the immune system is still handling with success. Don't let anything like a major life trauma, stress, other illness, heavy chemical or mold exposure come along which would allow some of the items below to theoretically flare in a major way. This scenario can take you down in a way in which you may not be able to get back up. And all the while no one may ever know the issue is even there.

Lyme borreliosis
Borrelia burgdorferi
Borrelia mayonii — rare

Common Lyme coinfections

Do any of these symptoms in the graphic sound familiar? Air Quality can make a huge difference for everyone, and in particular for anyone dealing with POTS syndrome (PS. the word syndrome implies an all too often heard sentiment - we don't know what causes it). But as you'll see below we do kinda know some things. And like everything else it's influenced heavily by environmental short, and long-term exposures.

It’s easy to forget how much energy the “little things” can take when you have POTS.

Showering, grocery shopping, standing in line, getting ready for the day… things that seem simple can feel like huge accomplishments. 💙

Is it possible that the reason so many people are having gut issues is, in part due to the fact their belly hasn't seen the sun really since age 15 or 11? or ... maybe ever? The research shows that it definitely plays a role. How much? who knows

Sunlight modulates the gut microbiome not only through UV, but through visible and infrared wavelengths that pe*****te deeper, activate opsins, modulate nerves, shift immune tone, and alter systemic hormones. These signals converge on the gut to change motility, permeability, immune balance, and microbial niches.

Skin photoreception → neuroendocrine signaling
Melanocytes and keratinocytes convert UV/visible light into hormonal and immune signals that reach the gut.

Vitamin D pathway
UVB → ↑ 25(OH)D → downstream effects on gut immunity, barrier function, and microbial composition.

Circadian entrainment
Light exposure calibrates host and microbial clocks, altering GI motility, SCFA rhythms, and microbial gene expression.

Immune modulation
UVB shifts skin‑immune cytokine patterns, which propagate systemically and influence gut microbial niches.
