Last night was the final class of our latest Birth & Beyond class series! 🤍

We have had such a wonderful year with these classes, and we are so grateful to everyone who has participated along the way. It has been so much fun learning, practicing, connecting, and preparing for birth and beyond together!

We’re excited to continue offering Birth & Beyond, along with new classes and opportunities for expecting parents in the coming year.

Our next Birth & Beyond series will begin in February 2027! If you’re an expecting mama preparing for a new baby in the new year and would like to join us, we would love to have you! 🌿

So excited to get to start working with this amazing lady! 💕 She has such a heart for helping moms and their babies navigate feeding and other functional skills, and she is truly amazing at what she does.

Hello, I'm Ashley and I am the owner of Root and Rise Pediatric Therapy. I’m a pediatric occupational therapist with a passion for helping babies and young children find ease in feeding, connection, and development.

I have experience in the NICU and with medically complex children. I have also pursued additional training as a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, feeding and tethered oral tissues (tongue and lip ties) specialist, and craniosacral therapy/ cranialsacral fascial therapy, allowing me to take a more comprehensive and nuanced approach to care. Rather than addressing symptoms in isolation, I look at the whole child—considering oral function, sensory systems, motor development, and the parent-child relationship.

My work centers around the earliest stages of life, where feeding challenges, oral function, and nervous system regulation can shape the trajectory of a child’s well-being. I take a gentle, holistic approach—one that honors the body’s biology and the importance of connection between parent and child. Therapy with me is not rushed or one-size-fits-all. It is thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in both science and experience.

My goal is not only to support your child, but to support you—so you feel confident, capable, and deeply connected in your parenting journey.

🌱 A LITTLE SEED IS GROWING… 🤍

Our Planting Seeds family is growing again!

We are so incredibly excited to share that Baby Overocker #5 is on the way! 👶🏼✨

I’m also so excited to share this journey with you while I continue to walk alongside you in yours—please know I am still fully here and working with families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and motherhood.

As someone who has spent years walking alongside women through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and motherhood, getting to experience this journey again myself feels especially meaningful.

This little baby is already so loved, and we can’t wait to welcome another precious member into our family this December. 🤍

Thank you for allowing me to continue planting seeds of love, strength, and support in the families I serve—and now, for letting me share a little piece of my own journey with you. 🌱
