Random hype post - if you or someone you care about makes a living or just spends many hours a day on keyboards, this is "hands down" the best product out there. Short learning curve, infinite programmability, but usable out of the box, and lets you align your thumbs, wrists, shoulders, neck, spine, everything in ways a joined keyboard never could. (I am not a paid promoter - just have seen what it can do for folks, and am a huge fan). It is worth the dollars if you're spending those hours - a single repetitive strain injury costs so much more than this. And being comfortable and healthy in your own body? PRICELESS.

Those box elder bugs covering your south-facing wall this week aren't moving in.

They're moving out.

They've been in your siding since October. They crawled into cracks around window frames, under siding edges, and behind shutters when the temperature dropped last fall. They've been dormant for five months. They didn't eat anything. They didn't breed. They didn't damage a single thing inside your walls.

This week the south side of your house warmed up enough to wake them. Now they're doing the only thing they came for — leaving. They're heading for the nearest box elder or maple tree where they'll spend the rest of the year eating seeds outside.

They don't eat fabric. They don't eat wood. They don't eat food. They don't bite or sting. They can't breed indoors. The only thing they leave behind is a faint orange stain if they're crushed.

If you do nothing, they're gone within a week.

🏡 How to handle the wall of bugs:

- Leave them alone and they'll clear out on their own as they migrate back to host trees
- If they're coming inside through gaps, a vacuum cleaner is the fastest removal — empty the bag outside so they disperse naturally
- Seal cracks around window frames and siding edges after they leave to prevent next October's entry — caulk is more effective than any spray
- A south-facing wall that warms up early is the exit point, not the entry point — the bugs you see in March are the last of them, not the first

The wall looks alarming for about a week. Then it's over. No treatment needed 🌿

Dear Clients,

It is with great sadness that I am writing to let you know that I have decided to give up my office & close Bridgetown Bodywork until further notice.

Even with masks and strong sanitation protocols, being in a poorly ventilated space at close distance for an extended time is risky. Given the growth in cases, as well as the growing amount of unknowns surrounding blood clotting associated with the virus, it is my judgment that there is no way I will be able to resume practice safely and ethically for at least the rest of this year, and perhaps much longer. It is simply not worth it to me to put any of you in danger.

There are other therapists who are making different decisions surrounding this situation, and I hope those of you who are comfortable receiving a massage under the circumstances the best of luck finding someone who suits your needs.

Unfortunately, as those people whom I normally recommend have made similar decisions to me, or are not taking new clients, I cannot provide you with any suggestions.

It has been my delight & privilege to work with you over the last nine years, and I sincerely hope that the time will soon come when I am once again able to show up and do what I am passionate about every day.
