Rain Is on the Way!

With already saturated ground and more rain expected this weekend, now is the time to prepare for potential flooding.

If your property is flood-prone, consider placing sandbags before the storm arrives.

Find sandbag locations at YavapaiReady.gov/Sandbags.

Turn Around, Don't Drown!

With heavy rainfall and increased flooding concerns expected across Yavapai County today, remember: You can't tell how deep floodwater is just by looking at it.

Floodwaters can hide washed-out roads, debris, and strong currents capable of sweeping vehicles away.

Never drive through flooded roadways or washes, even if you've crossed them before.

If the road is flooded, turn around. It's not worth the risk!

This week is Invisible Disability Week and we thought we would take the opportunity to share a little more about Multiple Chemical Sensitivity.

Since we have multiple team members with this, it is pretty important to us, and it is also why we are a fragrance free facility (or at least strive to be)

A single exposure can trigger symptoms that persist for days or weeks. Heart palpitations, rapid heartbeat, blood pressure changes, chest pain, headaches, migraines, brain fog, and skin irritations are just the start. Because of the strain on the body, extreme cases may involve kidney strain, liver compromise and endocrine disruption.

So please think about this the next time you apply your fragrance before leaving the house. We are all in this together.
