Hello people! Canessa here again. I have had to have a few hard discussions with clients recently and I just wanted to get the info out there so everyone has more of an understanding why.
I have had an influx of postpartum and breastfeeding women wanting piercings lately. This is not something that we will do in our shop for the safety of you and your baby. Here are some of the reasons why:
*Compromised Immune System:
-Postpartum recovery, sleep deprivation, and the physical demands of milk production leave the immune system temporarily depleted. This makes it harder for the body to heal a new wound or fight off infection.
*Hormonal Fluctuations:
-Rapidly shifting postpartum and lactating hormones can impact skin sensitivity, tissue elasticity, and how the body forms scar tissue, complicating the healing process.
*Delayed Healing:
-The body is already expending a massive amount of energy on milk production and systemic healing after childbirth. A new piercing will often take much longer to heal than it normally would, leaving you more time to develop infections or other healing issues.
It is best to wait a minimum of 6 months postpartum. Keep in mind that a piercing is an open wound. While it is not a large wound, depending on the piercing, they still take a lot of time and energy for your body to fully heal.

Hello, everyone! Canessa here! I just wanted to post an updated esthetics menu because, apparently, I have been keeping these services a little too well hidden. I have had quite a few people recently surprised to find out that esthetics is something I offer. Oops!

With that said, I have a question for you all.
I am thinking about adding facial and back facial services that are designed primarily around relaxation, massage, and self-care. While I will be using professional products suited for different skin types, these will not be designed for corrective skincare.
Think of it as 30 minutes-1 hour to simply just unwind and be taken care of. This isn't something I want to invest in if nobody is interested. So, is this something you, or someone you know, would be interested in?

For witches night out Oct. 9th, we will be open from 4pm-8pm we will be doing tattoos from this flash sheet only. We will be duplicating designs throughout the night, the designs will not be crossed off as taken as we used to do. Flash designs are regular $70 minimum, so on this sale are only $49.
