Superhero Walk, Roll & Run Recap!

Our Superhero Walk, Roll & Run at Fort Taber was a huge success! On October 18, more than 200 superheroes came out to walk, roll, run, and cheer on a sunny, crisp morning, and together they raised thousands of dollars for children and families in our community.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, volunteered, and supported the event. Because of this community, Meeting Street can keep offering vital programs and services to the children and families who need them most.

Our Sibling Group is back on Thursday, October 29th from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at The Schwartz School in Dartmouth. It’s a chance for kids to meet other siblings, talk about the good stuff and the tough stuff, learn how to handle situations that come up, and support each other.

There will be games, crafts, and food, with groups for ages 5-8 and 9-13. We’re also holding a Parent Group at the same time for anyone interested.

Our Superhero Walk, Roll & 5K is this Sunday at Fort Taber Park in New Bedford at 9 AM.

The Walk and Roll is a family-friendly 1-mile accessible route, welcoming to wheelchairs, strollers, and walkers of every kind. It's free to register.

Feeling super? Suit up for our Superhero 5K, USATF certified, through Fort Taber Park in New Bedford and into the neighborhood. $45 gets you in plus a t-shirt.

When you're done, come hang out in the kids' activity area, enjoy some entertainment, and say hi to our community part.
