Susan McKenna, MSN, AGACNP-BC, sees all new patients at Simply Injectables in Providence’s Wayland Square and leads our GLP-1 weight loss program. She also speaks Portuguese.

Susan is an ANCC board certified Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical background spanning critical care, hospital medicine and aesthetic medicine. She studied at Saint Joseph’s School of Nursing and went on to receive her BSN from New England Institute of Technology. Her nursing career began in the ICU where she spent 7 years building a foundation in advanced assessment, clinical decision making and patient-centered care.

After earning her Master’s degree at Rhode Island College, she went on to work as a Hospitalist at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence, RI, where she spent 6 years expanding her expertise in comprehensive patient care and medical management. Susan began practicing aesthetics on a part time basis alongside medicine in 2019 and transitioned into the aesthetics role on a full time basis in 2025, allowing her to dedicate her experience and passion to helping patients look and feel their best.

Susan’s proficiencies include neurotoxin treatments, dermal fillers, biostimulants, and weight-loss management. She takes a thoughtful, anatomical approach to aesthetic medicine, believing the goal is to preserve and enhance each patient’s uniqueness. She strives for natural results that are subtle yet impactful — refreshed, balanced and uniquely you.
