Our 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Event was made possible by the incredible support of our community, and we are truly grateful to everyone who played a part in today’s event!

💗 A special THANK YOU to all of our amazing vendors; Petunia's BBQ, Rebellious Rose Spa and Salon, and Golden Galore Luxe Beauty, who took time out of their busy schedules to participate, share their services, and help make this event meaningful. Your presence, generosity, and support did not go unnoticed!

🎀 A heartfelt THANK YOU to Southeast Mississippi Rural Health Initiative, Inc. for providing valuable breast health education and on-site breast exams/screenings. Your commitment to making preventive healthcare more accessible in our community is greatly appreciated!

💗Awareness of the facts and statistics surrounding breast cancer in the United States is key in empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health.
💗1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. This year, approximately 382,640 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer—including 321,910 with invasive breast cancer and 60,730 with non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer.
💗Chances are, you know at least one person who has been personally affected by breast cancer.
Several women very close to us here are breast cancer warriors and survivors. We are thankful to be a small part of this event with such a BIG purpose.

Our 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Event is about more than wearing pink, it’s about turning awareness into action.💗

We’re excited to have the SEMRHI Mobile Unit on-site providing mammograms during the event! If you’ve been putting off your mammogram, this is a convenient opportunity to make your breast health a priority while you’re already joining us for the day.
