🌿 Have you ever tried Qi Gong?
I want to share something that has made such a positive difference in how I feel, both physically and emotionally. ❤️
I’ve been attending Qi Gong twice a week, and it has truly become one of the most healing parts of my week, especially as I’ve been navigating grief, loss, and some very heavy emotions.
Qi Gong (pronounced “Chee Gong”) is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle, flowing movements, mindful breathing, and meditation to help bring the body and mind into balance.
What I love most about Qi Gong is how gentle it is on the body. You don’t have to push yourself, strain your muscles, or work up a sweat to experience the benefits.
For me, it helps release tension, loosen stiffness, improve how my body moves, and leave me feeling more grounded, relaxed, and energized.
But what has surprised me most is how much it has helped me emotionally. Grief doesn’t just live in our thoughts. We can feel it physically, too, through tension, fatigue, and heaviness in our bodies. Qi Gong has given me a gentle way to move through those feelings, reconnect with myself, and find moments of peace when life feels overwhelming. 💚
✨ Some of the potential benefits of Qi Gong include:
* Improved balance, flexibility, and mobility
* Less physical tension and stiffness
* A calmer nervous system and greater relaxation
* Better body awareness and coordination
* Emotional well-being and stress relief
* A sense of peace, clarity, and renewed energy
And one of the best things? You don’t have to be young, athletic, or particularly flexible to begin. Movements can be adapted to your comfort and ability.
💕 We are so fortunate to have Marie sharing this beautiful practice at The Institute of Light!
If you’ve been carrying stress, grief, emotional heaviness, or simply feeling disconnected from your body, I encourage you to give yourself the gift of trying a class.
Sometimes the gentlest practices make the biggest difference in how we feel.
