🎉 Celebrating 30 Years at FRW, Happy Retirement, Paul Porter! 🎉
Thirty years ago, Paul Porter came to Fontana Resources at Work after his mom, who was the Program Director at the time, asked him to come help out. Paul agreed, but only for six months.
Six months turned into a year, a year turned into many, and somewhere along the way, what was supposed to be temporary became a 30 year career dedicated to FRW and the people we serve. ❤️
Over the years, Paul wore many hats and held multiple titles. He began as a Production Supervisor, went on to become a Case Manager, worked in Supported Employment, managed Transportation Contracts, and ultimately ended his 30 year career as our Senior Program Manager.
But Paul’s time at FRW can’t simply be measured by the titles he held. It can be seen in the participants whose lives he touched, the staff he supported and worked alongside, the relationships he built, and the countless memories made throughout three decades of service.
Today, on Paul’s final day at FRW, our participants and staff came together to surprise him with a cake and celebrate the incredible milestone of 30 years. 🎂🎉
It all started with a son agreeing to help his mom for six months. Neither of them could have known then that those six months would turn into three decades and become such a significant part of Paul’s life — and FRW’s story.
Paul, thank you for 30 years of dedication, leadership, commitment, and service to FRW and our participants. Your presence will truly be missed, but the impact you’ve made will remain.
