Where were you when the world stood still that September Day. Well I was pregnant with the young man. Zach will be 25 in Dec. I was 6 mo pregnant with him working in the presidents office at Tunbridge Fair with my mom. The eerie silence that took over the fairgrounds that September morning. I still remember that you could hear a pin drop. This day we remember all those lives that were taken, the families, the first responders, the police, the people that didn’t run the other way and helped Victims. We remember you all today.

If you guys have been following T O L for a while, you know that I am a thrifty! Well, mama, Amy found a new thrift shop yesterday well driving through Barre VT. The Salvation Army has reopened their thrift shop. It is at 921 Barre Montpelier Rd. in Barre, Vermont. Their hours are Tuesday through Thursday 10 to 5 and Friday to Saturday 10 to 6 and in speaking to the wonderful clerk yesterday she has told me that other Salvation Army have closed in the area and they are getting all of their merchandise so next week sometime, they will be advertising for a huge sale like fill a bag for a few dollar sale. They have a great selection of housewares and sheets and blankets and all kinds of things that you could ever want amongst the Huge for the space a huge amount of clothing. Very very very reasonable rates and it was clean and quiet and it’s just a great space. They officially reopened and did their grand reopening in this past April and I’ve driven by the spot hundreds of times since then and had never seen it. They are lacking a lot of signage, but they do have a folding sign plastic sign that is put out front by the roadway. It’s very easy to find. It’s right across from the miracle ear Aspen dental new Plaza on the Barre Montpelier Road and Barre Vermont go check them out.
