🎄❤️ ADOPT A GRANDPARENT THIS CHRISTMAS! ❤️🎄
Everyone deserves to feel loved and remembered during the holidays.
For many of us, Christmas means family gatherings, familiar traditions, and spending time with the people we love. But for some seniors, the holidays can be a little quieter, especially when family and loved ones aren't nearby.
This year, The Victorian Assisted Living is inviting our wonderful Rapid City community to help us make Christmas a little more special for the residents who call our community home. ❤️
🎁 HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We're collecting a few simple things that can bring comfort, joy, and a smile to someone's day:
🧴 Toiletries and personal care items for men and women
🧦 Cozy socks, slippers, and warm blankets
☕ Coffee, hot cocoa, and favorite treats
🧩 Puzzle books, activities, and other thoughtful gifts
💌 Handwritten Christmas cards with a kind message
❤️ AND ONE OF THE GREATEST GIFTS YOU CAN GIVE IS YOUR TIME.
We would love to welcome volunteers who want to stop by, share a conversation, listen to a story, or simply spend a little time with our residents.
Sometimes a friendly face and someone willing to listen can mean more than anything wrapped under a Christmas tree.
