I'm so excited to announce that for the summer months my sourdough classes can come to you! (within in the Jackson metro area - Hinds, Rankin and Madison counties) Please DM me if you'd like to talk about setting up a class. Sourdough baking is even more fun with friends!

It all started with a loaf of bread . . . I took an online course out of curiosity, and the journey has been SO much fun! One all-time favorite would be hard to name.

Cinnamon rolls, beignets and tiramisu are high on the list. My sweet tooth is showing. 😉 I use real, low-glycemic ingredients even when making sweets so they're basically health foods.

Food and community just go together.

April was certainly proof of that and was full of travel, food, family and friends.

We pulled out the sourdough beignet recipe when we were in the TX hill country. Did a double batch for the first time, and they turned out great! Friends and family gathered at Selah in Boerne to enjoy their amazing coffee and baked treats, sourdough among them.

We served sourdough English muffins at the Raymond Plant Bingo night at the White Horse Market Cafe & Creamery. Didn't get pictures of the muffins, but it was such a fun night!

Lately, I've gotten requests for a Saturday evening class so we're going to make that happen this month: May 16th, 6-8pm. Link to sign up will be in the comments.

Sourdough is so much fun with friends! Grab a few and learn something new together. Connecting with our food is meaningful in a way I can't fully explain. When we add other people to the mix, the experience is even richer.
