This Saturday, we're coming together to do something that is unique to the CrossFit community.
One of our own, CFR member and Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper Jared Chronister, brought us the "Phillips" Hero WOD in honor of Kentucky State Trooper Hayden Phillips, who was killed in the line of duty on September 28, 2026.
Trooper Phillips was a husband, father of three, son, brother, and friend. He was only three years into his service with the Kentucky State Police when his life was taken during a traffic stop. His loss leaves behind a family, colleagues, and a community who will carry his memory forward.
At CFR, we have the privilege of standing shoulder to shoulder with first responders who serve our communities every day. Some of them train alongside us. They're our friends, our training partners, and members of our family here. We see the commitment it takes to serve others, and we don't take that responsibility lightly.
This Saturday, we're inviting our CFR community, local law enforcement, first responders, and anyone who wants to honor Trooper Phillips to join us for the Phillips Hero WOD.
We'll sweat together, work hard together, and take time to remember a man who gave his life in service to others.
Bring your friends. Bring your family. Stand alongside the people who stand up for our communities every day.
