But notably for our Diabetes Community: Lee established The Iacocca Family Foundation in '84 in honor of his late wife Mary, who passed away from #T1D complications, and since then has given $40M+ to diabetes cure research -- including Dr. Denise Faustman's work early on and through the years. https://www.iacoccafoundation.org/about

#DYK There’s magic in your smile?

Smiling can boost your mood when you’re feeling blue. Studies have shown that making yourself smile when you’re feeling down can improve your mood and refocus your thoughts. Neurotransmitters called endorphins are released when you smile; the more we stimulate our brain to release this chemical, the more often we feel happier and relaxed. Give it a try... Let’s see your best smile! 😄 #MotivationMonday #WRBFacilityDogs
