Intentional touch asks the practitioner to slow down enough to notice what is happening underneath their hands—not simply follow a routine.

Does the tissue soften here?
Does the body resist?
Does the breath change?
Does something move differently when we slow down?

Bodywork is not always about forcing tissue to change.
Sometimes it begins with enough attention to notice what the body is already communicating.
