Still pondering. Still imagining. Still creating. And definitely not done becoming. 😉
I've spent a good part of my life helping people see possibilities they couldn't quite see for themselves.
Sometimes that's meant teaching. Or counseling, coaching, mentoring, or simply sitting with someone long enough for a new perspective to emerge.

Many times it's meant encouraging someone to take a chance, try something different, or remember that there's still plenty of life to enjoy.💚

Along the way, I've discovered something interesting.
We don't always need another expert telling us what to do.
Sometimes we need someone who can see the bigger picture, recognize what we're bringing to the table, and help us discover what we might do with it.

✅A little wisdom. A little whimsy. A little courage. And some good company along the way.
I've been imagining some new ways to bring those things together through River Sage.
So I'm curious... if you could have a little more of ONE thing in your life right now, would it be clarity, confidence, connection, or simply more FUN?

From Bristol to Easton, nearly 60 miles of towpath offer colorful trees, peaceful canal views, historic landmarks and plenty of places to enjoy fall.

This season, help us capture the changing colors of the Delaware Canal.

Play the shot in front of you. ⛳️

I've been thinking a lot about that lately as I continue developing The Long Putt© and Coach FORE Life®.
And I've also been thinking about the difference between a coach, a mentor…and a really good caddy.
A good caddy doesn't just carry the bag. I witnessed this first hand as a Marshall for the past 3 days at a PGA golf event with some hall of fame pros and others on one of the deceptively difficult holes.

Your caddy knows the course. They understand the terrain. They've seen difficult lies before. They know which club might work, and when the club you think you need probably isn't the one to pull. 😉

But ultimately, they hand the club back to you. You still take the shot.
That's pretty close to how I've come to understand mentoring. And this meme is a humorous way of considering not just a golf shot, but the decisions we make everyday for our lives as business persons, family members, etc

After decades in business, leadership, ministry, wellness, counseling, community work and entrepreneurship, I've accumulated more than coaching tools. I've accumulated experience- Connections. Perspective. Wisdom. A pretty good ability to read the terrain, and enough life experience to know that sometimes the plan changes after the first swing.⛳

Are you carrying a lot? Women usually are - businesses, careers, families, relationships, aging parents, dreams, financial decisions and questions about what comes next.

We don't necessarily need someone standing on the sidelines shouting instructions, and giving us more checklists, pushing the FOMO promos.

Sometimes we need an experienced person walking the course with us who can say:
How are you "seeing" this.
Here's what I see.
Here's what I've learned.
Here's something you may not have considered.
Now…what shot do YOU want to take?

That's the piece of mentoring I've always been interested in and have helped people with through Improve Your Wellth® programs.
You don't have to play the entire course today.

And sometimes it helps to have a really good caddy. ⛳️
I've walked enough courses to recognize some of the terrain.

And I'm working on creating The Clubhouse. ✅ Not just another network group. No fancy expensive membership applications. No handicaps.
