Sisters Network Central Virginia Sisters Network Central Virginia (SNCVA) is a chapter of Sisters Network®lnc., first national Afric

The Pink Ribbon Awareness campaign is Sisters’ national faith-based educational outreach program that reaches women in church and religious organizations providing information and resources. We visit an area congregation each month and eagerly seek and attend health-related programs. Our Gift for Life Block Walk is an annual event held on the 4th Saturday of September. We collaborate with organizations and community groups to promote breast health awareness in an under-served community. On the specified date, breast cancer survivors partner with volunteers and canvas door-to-door to distribute breast health education brochures, resource information, and pink ribbons.

Yesterday was full of knowledge, exercise, networking, & laughter. We participated in the AARP 2026 Health & Wellness Fair and had a great time sharing our experiences, checking the status of mammograms, & answering questions.

It’s always a great feeling to be out in the community.

Pink Ribbon Alert!! Let’s spill the tea…

Yesterday, we visited First Baptist Church Centralia. Morning worship service was great and after service we attended their Spilling the Tea on Cancer event.

The speakers were informative and survivor testimonials were inspiring. Two of our very own shared their stories.

We had a great time! What are you planning to do for the rest of Breast Cancer Awareness Month?

Wheels up! Our Sisters are on the move!

We prayed for traveling mercies & our Sisters landed in Houston for the Sisters Network National Black Breast Cancer Summit this weekend!

This is a great opportunity to gain additional knowledge & resources, network with other chapters, and return energized to continue our mission.
