So proud to see our owner, Alison Johnson, featured on Episode 21 of 365 Proof! 🤍

If you know Alison, you know her passion has always been people. She genuinely loves caring for others, hearing their stories, meeting them where they are, and helping them become the healthiest version of themselves—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
In this episode, Alison shares the heart behind building Performance Health & Wellness, her journey through healthcare, and why she believes treating the whole person matters.

We’re incredibly proud of the heart, vision, and purpose she brings to PHW every single day. This is such a special conversation and one worth listening to! 🤍

In Episode 21 of 365 Proof by Defining Wellness, Daniel Phyfer and Courtney Milan sit down with Alison Johnson, a dual-certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner, entrepreneur, and Defining Wellness detox provider.

Alison shares her path from growing up around healthcare to building Performance Health and Wellness, working on the front lines of acute care during COVID, and finding a deeper calling in substance abuse and mental health. The conversation explores burnout, recovery, hormones, weight loss, GLP-1 medications and why treating the whole person matters.

With honesty, humor, and hard-earned insight, Alison reminds us that lasting change takes time—and that anything with good bones is worth doing the work.

We've had the privilege of serving the Ridgeland, MS community for 15 years, and we're beyond excited to now open our doors in Brandon, MS!

We know that struggling with weight, hormones, or your overall health can be a personal and frustrating experience. Our providers take the time to get to know every patient on an individual level — because we understand that no two people have the same physical or emotional needs.

Our team offers weight loss & metabolic medicine, hormone replacement therapy for men and women, one-on-one nutrition counseling, weight loss management, and anxiety & depression treatment — all built around you, not a one-size-fits-all template.

We don't believe in quick fixes. Our goal is to help you understand the root causes behind your symptoms and give you the tools to manage your health for the long run.
