You know what’s REALLY scary?! 👻

HAHA I just had to hop on this trend because, well, I have plenty of sheets lying around.

I had a little break between clients the other day and let me tell you… getting the tripod at the right angle, setting a timer, trying to run into place, throw a sheet over my head AND get the sunnies on in time was HARD, man. 😭😂

Not to mention I don’t have white sheets, so I couldn’t see a dang thing once it was over my head. 💀

This was the best take out of probably 10 attempts. 😂

The whole time I was thinking, if my client shows up early and catches me doing this, she is going to DIE laughing…
But that didn’t happen and I kept my dignity intact . 🤣👻

I hope this post helps people understand where small businesses are coming from with cancellation/no-show policies. 🤍

I genuinely do not like enforcing mine. I understand life happens, and there have been plenty of times I’ve made exceptions.

So if we’ve had to reschedule before and I didn’t charge you — please don’t read too far into this post 😂 Your situation was simply an exception to my policy or I was able to schedule someone else in quickly to fill your spot! (And I’m not going to double charge if I got someone else in… that’s messed up haha)

But at the end of the day, I HAVE to have this policy. When you book with me, that time is reserved specifically for you. A last-minute cancellation or no-show usually means I have no chance to fill that spot — and that’s part of my workday and income gone.

We don’t really question these policies with hotels, flights, concerts, etc. Small businesses aren’t any different.

And part of the reason I made this is simply to show you guys some of the wild conversations small business owners deal with behind the scenes. 😂

Seriously… can you believe some of these?! 😅

I’ll always try to be understanding, but being understanding and having boundaries can exist at the same time. 🤎

November announcement! 🍂🦌

A little schedule change + a look at what my November availability is looking like! I’ll officially be in the studio 4 days a week, which means more opportunities to get you guys on the table. 🙌🏼

🤎 Days highlighted still have openings available!
The 17th, 19th, 20th & 30th currently have the most availability.

And of course… there’s a little time blocked off for hunting season + Thanksgiving. 😉🦌

If you know you’re due for some bodywork, snag your spot ahead of time! 🫶🏼

QUESTIONS I OFTEN GET AS AN LMT! 💆🏻‍♀️

This was a fun post to craft up, I'm sure there are a bunch of questions that I'm forgetting.
These are for sure among the more frequent ones I get though. If you have any questions please drop them in the comments or dm them and I'll make a part 2 post!

Also! majority of these pictures are from my trip I just got back from:) Recharging, living a little, being out in nature is so important for the soul, mind, and body. Balance is so important between Work + Life - and I'm beyond grateful for all the support that allowed this trip to have even taken place!

While I wanted to stay longer in Alaska, I am also happy to be back at it and working with all ya'll lovely people again!!

So keep on being amazing beautiful souls, because it's appreciated more than you know 🥰

Had to share this because honestly… what are the chances of this all working out?! 😂🙌🏼

I had a client reach out who needed to get in sooner than their scheduled appointment because they had something going on that needed to be addressed so they could work pain-free.

We talked, picked a time, and I put them on my schedule. Easy enough… except apparently I had their phone number saved under ANOTHER client’s name. 🤦🏼‍♀️

So while I was talking one client the entire time, I scheduled the appointment under the completely wrong/different client. 😂

Tonight rolls around and the client whose NAME I accidentally put on my schedule was actually planning on coming in… but calls me on the way and says their tire blew (they’re safe thanks God!) and they weren’t going to make it.

I’m thinking, “Oh my gosh, no worries! Take care of your tire, be safe, have a good night!”

Then my front door opens…

In walks the client I had ACTUALLY been talking to and who ACTUALLY needed the appointment. 😂

I’m standing there like, “Hey!! How are you?! What’s going on? Can I help you?”

And they’re like… “We have an appointment.” 😂

Cue me putting the entire story together and realizing what I had done. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

WHAT ARE THE CHANCES?!

This could’ve been an absolute scheduling disaster with two clients showing up at the same time, and somehow everything aligned perfectly and the person who needed the work still got their appointment. 🙌🏼

Business owners make mistakes. We’re human. I’m definitely not perfect. 😂 Sometimes you just have to laugh, give God the praise that somehow it all worked out, and move on.

Now I’m just praying my other client gets their tire fixed safely… and gets as good of a laugh out of this as I did. 😂🤍

October is already filling up realllly fast! So if you’ve been looking for a sign to get on the schedule… this is it 😂 Or maybe you’ve just been meaning to book and keep forgetting — also your reminder 😘.

I’ll officially be here 4 DAYS A WEEK! YAYYY!! 🥳

Wednesday: CLOSED
No more Wednesday evenings for winter — they’ll be back in the spring! ✨☀️

AND I’ll most likely be bringing back one Saturday morning a month! 🙌🏼

So many exciting changes coming into fall + winter, and I’m just incredibly grateful that you guys continue to keep me this busy and allow me to do what I love. 🤎
