Norma Kathryn DeFreese Moore, deceased, a former member of the 6888 Central Postal Directory and recipient of an Army Good Conduct Medal, an American Campaign Medal and a European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal. Norma Moore served as an Army WAC from December 1943 to December 1945.

Join the City of Atlanta Government Department of Parks & Recreation’s City Golf team for fun-filled community events! Event is free and open to the public!

The fun begins Saturday, October 26 at 11am with a Porch Talk on the history of golf with Professional Golfer and Media Personality, Alexis Belton at the Historic Alfred "Tup" Holmes Golf Course.

We will also host at Browns Mill Golf Course starting at 3pm.

There will be a second community event on Saturday, November 9 at Chastain Park Golf Course and Candler Park Golf Course.
