Alpharetta, we’ll see you next week!

Marcus Patterson, our Regional Relationship Manager, will be at the GA State Board of Workers’ Compensation Annual Conference August 31 through September 2 at The Hotel at Avalon, where Transcom is a proud break sponsor. Catch him between sessions; that’s where the best conversations happen anyway.

And Monday morning we’re kicking the week off by sponsoring breakfast at (tag) Kids’ Chance of Georgia at The Metropolitan Club. Kids’ Chance provides scholarships to the children of workers who were seriously or fatally injured on the job, and getting to support those families is easily one of the best parts of this week.

Mobility status changes between the referral and the appointment. Restrictions come off. A worker who walked into the last visit is coming out of surgery before the next one. The request gets built off whatever the file said last, which was accurate when someone wrote it. Then a sedan shows up for an injured worker who needs a lift van, and the ride doesn't happen. ⏱️ The appointment gets rebooked, and depending on the specialty, the next slot may be days or even weeks out.
