🍁 What an incredible fall meeting we had! I’m so grateful for each of you who joined us — your enthusiasm, teamwork, and positivity made the evening truly special.

We laughed, learned, and had a blast playing our educational games. Moments like these remind me how lucky we are to have such a supportive, engaged, and fun chapter.

☕️Coding & Coffee was a success! ☕️

We had such a great morning filled with good conversations, connection, and plenty of coding talk! We even got the opportunity to chat about chapter officer roles for the next term, which has us SO excited about the future of our chapter. 🥰

We’re incredibly excited to see this chapter stay open for the next two years and, more importantly, continue to grow, connect, and THRIVE with our hive! 🐝💛

📢 Our AAPC Officer Election is coming up this October! 🗳️

Officer roles are President, Vice president, Secretary/Treasurer, Education officer and Member Development officer. Each of these roles has an important place in our roanoke chapter and we would like to see YOU as an officer. 😊 While each officer brings something special to the table, it's being a team that makes this chapter succeed and we are proud to have our members!

A list of officers and their role in the chapter:

President - Leads the chapter, sets the direction, leads meetings, coordinates officers, and represents the chapter

Vice President - Supports the President, helps manage chapter activities and steps in for the President when needed

Secretary/Treasurer - Manages records & finances. Keeps meeting records, communications, and financial information organized

Education Officer - Leads education, plans educational opportunities, speakers, and learning activities for members

Member Development Officer -Grows & engages membership, welcomes members, encourages participation, promotes membership, and builds the chapter community
