Drop in with your little one for a morning of sensory play! This playtime includes toys that stimulate the senses: touch, smell, sight, movement, balance, and hearing. Sensory Playtime is designed to be an inclusive environment for children with special sensory, developmental, or physical needs as well as typically developing children. Everyone is welcome! This program will also give caregivers a chance to connect with each other while their children play!

Sensory Playtime is aimed towards toddlers and preschoolers, but all ages are welcome!

October 6th — World Cerebral Palsy Day 💚

Today, I’m celebrating and recognizing the strength, resilience, and individuality of every person living with cerebral palsy. 💚

As both a caregiver and an occupational therapist, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals with cerebral palsy across all forms and presentations. Every person is different, and every journey deserves to be met with understanding, dignity, advocacy, and the right support.

As an OT, I’m reminded every day that therapy isn’t about changing who someone is it’s about helping them participate, communicate, play, learn, move, and live as independently and meaningfully as possible.

To the individuals with CP and the families, caregivers, and professionals walking alongside them: I see you. I support you. I advocate for you. 💚

Here’s to celebrating abilities, encouraging independence, and creating a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. ♿️💚
