Getting back on your feet after hip replacement starts with movement.

Physical therapy plays an important role in rebuilding strength, improving mobility, and helping you safely return to everyday activities after surgery.

Recovery looks different for every patient, but getting moving early and staying consistent with PT can make a meaningful difference.

If hip pain is limiting your mobility, schedule an appointment to discuss your treatment options.

Hip pain can slowly start changing more than you realize, how far you walk, how well you sleep, and even the activities you choose to avoid.

I often meet patients who aren’t sure if what they’re feeling is “just part of getting older” or if it’s time to do something about it. The good news is that having hip pain doesn’t automatically mean surgery.

The first step is understanding what’s causing the pain and looking at the full range of treatment options. My goal is to help you stay active, protect your independence, and make the decision that makes sense for you.

If hip pain is starting to dictate your day, it may be time to have the conversation.

It is always an honor to care for patients who travel from near and far in search of answers for their pain.

If you’re looking for an opinion on your hip or knee pain, schedule an appointment to discuss your options.

There isn’t one “right age” for hip or knee replacement.

The decision depends more on how much pain is affecting your daily life, whether nonsurgical treatments are still helping, what your imaging shows, and your goals for staying active.

If hip or knee pain is becoming harder to manage, schedule an appointment to discuss your options.

An orthopedic consultation should give you a clearer understanding of what’s causing your pain and what you can do about it.

During your visit, we’ll talk about your symptoms, how they affect your daily routine, previous treatments you’ve tried, imaging when appropriate, and the options available moving forward.

And surgery isn’t automatically the answer.

The goal is to help you understand your condition so you can make an informed decision about your care.

If you’re dealing with ongoing knee or hip pain, schedule an appointment to discuss your options.

One of the biggest things I want patients to know is that knee pain does not have to control your daily life.

If you’re starting to avoid walking, traveling, exercising, golfing, or even simple time with family because of your knee, it may be worth having a conversation about your options.

I always look at the full picture first—what you’ve tried, what is still helping, and how much your knee pain is affecting your quality of life. For some patients, conservative treatment may still be the right path. For others, knee replacement may be the next step toward moving with less pain and more confidence.

The goal is not to rush the decision. It’s to make the right decision for you.

The Jiffy Knee technique is designed to access the knee while minimizing disruption to the surrounding muscles and soft tissues. For the right patient, that muscle-sparing approach can support earlier movement and a smoother recovery experience.

Every knee is different, so the best treatment plan should be based on your symptoms,
anatomy, and goals.

If knee pain is limiting your mobility, schedule an appointment to discuss whether the Jiffy Knee approach may be an option for you.

During knee replacement, the goal isn’t simply to replace damaged surfaces.

Implant positioning, alignment, balance, and the way the knee moves all play an important role in the procedure.

That’s also why knee replacement should be individualized. Every patient’s anatomy is different, and surgical planning should take those differences into account.

Considering knee replacement? Schedule a consultation to learn more about your options.

Recovery after Jiffy Knee surgery is about more than the procedure itself—it’s about what happens next.

Physical therapy plays an important role in helping patients rebuild strength, improve mobility, restore confidence, and continue progressing toward the activities they want to get back to.

Dr. Gross and the Jiffy Knee approach are focused on helping patients move forward with a recovery plan designed to support long-term function and mobility.

The work continues after surgery, and every PT session is part of the progress.
